How do I get a TARC pass?

Currently enrolled JCTC students can ride TARC (Louisville's public transportation) for free. Bring your student ID and a printout of your class schedule with you to the desk on the first floor of the Downtown or Southwest campus library to receive your TARC card.

There is a $10 replacement fee for lost TARC cards and a $10 replacement fee for lost IDs, payable by cash or check.

To get a TARC 3 bus pass, students will need to request verification that they are current students on official JCTC letterhead from the registrar and then email this verification to TARC3Eligibility@ridetarc.org. (TARC 3 is bus transportation, door to door, for people who have disabilities that prevent them from driving on their own.)

Visit the TARC website to view routes and schedules. Visit the TARC 3 page for more information about the TARC 3 service.
