FAQs

How can I request my transcript?

Online Transcript Requests

· Students wishing to request a transcript should submit their request online using the National Student Clearinghouse website: http://getmytranscript.com

· Once you are logged in, the website will walk you through submitting your request order as well as providing details on the delivery options, processing time frame and fees associated with your request (NSC charges a $2.90 processing fee, $5 per transcript, and $1 for electronic delivery). You may order as many transcripts as you wish within a single session. A processing fee will be charged per recipient. Order updates will be emailed to you and you also can track your order online.

When completing your transcript request, you will need the following information:

  1.  Your full name and all names used while attending the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
  2. Your Student ID number or Social Security Number, depending upon your College selection.
  3. Your Date of Birth.
  4. Dates of Attendance at KCTCS (No date limits).
  5. Each mailing address to which you wish your transcript(s) to be sent.
  6. Your signature.
  7. Your daytime phone number, e-mail address, and/or your mailing address - should you need to be contacted regarding your transcript request.
  8. The type of transcript service (mailed, electronic) plus payment.
  9. Payment information.

Transcript Policies

· No transcript will be sent to any person or organization without the expressed written consent of the individual student.

· Be advised that Official Transcripts will not be issued for individuals with financial holds.

· Partial transcripts are not issued. Transcripts show all work completed at the institution you are requesting the transcripts from.

· If you want your transcript request held for current semester grades, please allow 1 week for the end of term processing.

· If you want your transcript request held for Degree Statements, please allow 4 weeks.

· All transcripts given to a student will indicate “ISSUED TO STUDENT” which means some institutions may not accept a transcript issued directly to a student. Please follow up with the institution and/or employer first.
