When do I get my money from Financial Aid?


Visiting the Financial Aid Office on the 4th floor of the Jefferson Education Center (JEC Building) is the best way to get specific financial aid questions answered. 

 

However, we are able to share general information about financial aid distribution. Financial aid refunds (loaned money that exceeds the cost of classes and any fees) are disbursed approximately 4 weeks after the term begins. This means that students should not expect any money until mid-September, early February, or late June.

 

First-year, first-time borrowers are also subject to a 30-day delay before student loans can be disbursed. There can also be other factors outside the control of the Financial Aid Office that delay your refund. The Financial Aid Office has two helpful webpages to learn more information:
